Held annually by the Design for Change movement, the Be The Change 2021 Celebration conference is being organized by Criativos da Escola, DFC’s representative in Brazil.
With the theme Let’s Dream Together, the event involves a series of actions with the participation of transforming children and teenagers from 28 countries. The great online celebration takes place on December 10th.

The event will be conducted by the poet Mídria and the content producer PH Côrtes, in addition to the participation of children and teenagers from the Design for Change network.

The groups of children and teenagers selected in the Rainforest Kids Challenge awards will be announced. Each team will win prizes worth 2 thousand dollars.

The Readers Club – Technology and Literature Set Us Free
A group of female students seeks to bring visibility to the works of black women writers so that other young black girls know their ancestral stories and, through them, inspire themselves to change their life trajectories and conquer new spaces in society.

Super Soap Saver
Kids from ChezaCheza Dance Foundation live in a place where people use borehole water, which doesn’t lather easily with soap, leading to its waste. So they combined chemicals, created a liquid soap, sold it to schools and individuals for cheaper than on the market and also donated to some families.

Malaysian Youth Exchange Dialogue Series (MYxChange)
This is a monthly dialogue series, led by youth and children, about topics related to child rights, environment and other issues that the participants feel deeply about. It aims to directly empower youth and children to speak publicly about what matters to them and get inspired for possible actions

Project Zero
Damai Primary School students educated the school community on food waste to bring awareness about their eating habits. They also created a compost corner to recycle food waste and make compost for the school's green spaces. Many stakeholders embarked on the change together with the students.
